I enjoy the spontaneity and unpredictability of watercolour as a medium. It also suits my impatient nature - I like to work fast. I usually work at home in my tiny studio-cum-office. The digital camera has transformed the way I record potential subject matter. Often there is not time to stop or, morer likely, the weather is terrible and I have forgotten my sketch book, so I take lots of photos and then work from then when I get time.
